CASA GOA is a perfume house based in Bucharest, Romania, and its story begins with a trip to India. The founder already had a passion for perfumery; that journey, with its aromas, flavours, colours and mysticism, pushed him to make it his work. In India he began learning about ingredients, aromas and manufacturing as a self-taught perfumer, and later refined his craft with master perfumers in London and Grasse.

The first perfume came out in 2020 as a direct tribute to that trip: Goa L'Orientale. The house points out that it is the only one in the collection that openly carries the signature of India. The others go in different directions and start from a simple idea: every memory comes with a scent, and a perfume can be a way back to yourself.

Its fragrances include Sal Nàutico, named after the island of Sal in Cape Verde, a fragrance about the ocean and the people who face it. The house sums up its approach in four words: quality, simplicity, authenticity, respect. You can see it in the deliberately plain bottles, too.
