Alberto Anselmi - Founder
Alberto Anselmi is a clinical psychologist and creative director of the brand The Greenhouse.
Growing up in a family connected to the world of essences, he combined his training in clinical psychology with a passion for fragrances.
The concept of the brand The Greenhouse arises from the desire to break down the stigma associated with mental health: each fragrance tells — even through olfactory notes and packaging — a psychological condition, inviting knowledge and empathy.
“Normality does not exist”: according to Anselmi, we all go through moments or symptoms that can only be focused on by looking at them with awareness. The fragrance can become a protective “greenhouse,” a microclimate in which we feel authentic.

• Obsessive Leather: inspired by the mechanisms of obsessive-compulsive disorder, it is a leathery-incensed accord that evokes persistence and obsessive energy.
• Compulsive Musk: also starting from the theme of OCD; built on enveloping musks, it evokes the search for control and order typical of the disorder.
• Binge Eating Vanilla: a gourmand-green fragrance that tells the loss of control typical of binge eating disorder, combining natural vanilla and hazelnut in an olfactory embrace.
• Borderline Neroli: inspired by borderline personality disorder, it blends bright neroli and intense tuberose to represent the emotional duality and instability typical of the disorder.
