The Polish coast at dawn. Maria has always longed to see the landscape after a storm. She makes her way toward the beach through coastal woodland. The air is steeped in the scent of pine needles and resin. During the night, the raging wind brought down a few trees. She hears the sound of the waves as she crosses the dunes. The beach is near now. When she arrives, she notices the many treasures the sea has left upon the shore. She walks with her feet immersed in the icy water. Among shells and coloured stones, she finds the gold of the Baltic Sea. She will keep this amber as a keepsake.
