The Story of Tempesta XIV

"It was the beginning of autumn 2022 when I got in touch with Mr. Tempesta; yes, his surname. I proposed creating a themed fragrance. Without hesitation, he replied immediately mentioning I Guerrieri della notte, a 1979 film I had seen as a teenager but remembered little. I decided to rewatch it and the viewing clearly indicated the path to follow. After months of experimentation, finally, towards the end of December, the fourteenth version, namely Tempesta XIV, emerged. Already in the first test on the mouillette, I understood that I had cultivated a rare and precious flower in my garden. This composition stands out for its intensity and depth, with smoky touches interspersed with fresh fruity notes. The comparison with L'Angelo Caduto by Cabanel (1868) seems particularly fitting. In Tempesta XIV, fury and emotion relentlessly chase each other, eventually dissolving into a long-lasting amber base."
