Rosa Fiorita - Sample 2ml

Inspired by the perfumes that emerge from the drawers of the sacristy of the Basilica of Santa Rita da Cascia.

“Hail Rita, vessel of love, sorrowful spouse of Christ, you are born like a rose from the thorns of the Savior, beautiful”. These words are carved as a special greeting on the central beam of the basilica's facade.

The perfume Rosa Fiorita evokes the olfactory memory of Santa Rita, who, in January 1457, during her illness in the monastic cell of Cascia, asked a cousin to bring her a rose from her native land of Roccaporena. Tradition tells that God heard this desire and Rita's cousin managed to find a blooming rose in the snow.
